Even our heros who were nearing the city were in high spirits.  Celes, a tall, slender elf, was happily walking beside the green haired Healer Owyn, who was engaged in coversation with her.  The other two of the group were also engaged in conversation.  One was Lenos, a tall, red haired mage, and the other being Aphreal, a blue haired Gifted fighter.

 

"I'm starving!" Lenos exclaimed, interupting the lull of conversation.

 

"And I want a new sword but you don't see me complaining." Celes stated promptly.

 

"But you just did." Aphreal replied.

 

Owyn rolled his eyes.  "Okay, that's enough.  Lenos you're always hungry, and Celes, if you hadn't broken the last sword we bought you and if Aphreal hadn't spent the last of our money on those stupid boots, then we wouldn't have that problem now would we?"

 

Celes puffed indignantly.  "Hmph!  It's not my fault I broke my sword.  It was a crappy sword to begin with.  How am I suppose to defend you all if I have a crappy sword??"

 

Aphreal blinked.  "But YOU made the last sword for yourself and exclaimed, and I quote, 'This is the best sword ever!  And don't even think about asking to use it!'"

 

Celes deflated conciderably.  "Well, I, that is, uh...curse you shiney silver!"

 

Lenos's stomach growled yet again and shook the entire countryside.  The other three toppled to the ground by the sheer seismic power of the rumble.

 

"I need food."

 

The others groaned in unison.

 

"We need money!"
